It’s no secret that Avon is one of the biggest Cosmetics Brands in the world, with millions of regular customers across the United Kingdom and beyond. However, with that, comes systems such as the Avon Website. The Avon Website handles thousands if not tens of thousands of orders per day, each providing commission to Representatives. However, over the last couple of days, the Avon Website has been unavailable. Customers haven’t been able to access the website and orders can’t be placed, but what has happened to the Avon Website?
Avon has experienced a Cyber Incident within its Information Technology Environment, meaning that Avon has become interrupted and some areas of the company are partially affected. This means that customers can not access the Online Store side of Avon and that the usual functionality of the website is unavailable.
In this post, you can find out more about ordering from Avon during the affected operations, how to contact Representatives and much more. Please note that this post doesn’t provide a date of which the Avon Website will return to normal.
What has happened to the Avon website?
A couple of days prior to this post, the Avon Website & Mainframe experienced a Cyber Incident which has result in the website and phone lines being down. The specific details have not been released from Avon, however, they are working around the clock to rectify the issue and to get the website back online for customers.
However, during this period of the Website & Systems being offline, contacting Avon and ordering has become more difficult due to the reduced operations. This means that both Customers & Representatives have been affected, however, we have covered that further into this post.
What does this mean for Avon Customers?
Due to the main website being offline, this means that Avon Customers can not shop with Avon through the usual Avon Online Store system. You can buy Avon through a Representative by ordering directly or ordering through an Online Brochure and we have covered that further in this post.
We expect the Avon Website to be back online shortly, however we can not provide a specific date as Avon haven’t released one.
Alongside ordering, this also means that you can’t contact Avon as a customer either. This is due to the fact that the Phone Lines are down and any support in place by Avon is highly congested. If you have a regular representative that you order Avon with, you can ask for support and ask any questions you may have, however if you have an issue with a product or delivery from an Avon Online Store, you need to contact Avon Directly.
What does this mean for Avon Representatives?
While the main website is down, you can still access your Representative Area and place orders, manage your team as a sales leader, process applications etc.
With this being said, your Online Store is still offline. You can’t process any orders or customers through your store as they can’t access the store to order any products as the website is offline.
Alongside that, the Phone Lines and Systems are offline at Avon too, this means that if you need support with a customer or with a recruit as a Sales Leader, you need to turn to your upline for direct support until the issues have been resolved.
For the time being, try to sell Avon through Social Media and try to process orders directly. This means sharing the online brochure (the one that isn’t connected to a representative) and begin collecting orders. Then you can order through your Representative Panel and post the products yourself, or you can simply place the order through your Online Store when the website is back online.
How Can You Shop With Avon?

With the Avon Website being down, you can’t order via a Representatives online store at the moment. This means that you may need to purchase your Avon another way, whether that be through a Local Representative, through a Digital Brochure, just until the website is back to normal.
You can order Avon through other ways though without needing to use the Online Store, however it may result in you not shopping with your Usual Representative, just until things are back to normal.
Shopping with a Local Representative
Within your Local Area, whether that be a village or town, you will have one or maybe even multiple Avon Representatives. During the current issues with the Avon Systems, you can order locally through a Local Representative to still get your Avon Products and Order.
You can find a Local Representative in Local Facebook Groups by asking or just searching for Avon Representatives and then your Area whether that be your Village or Town.
You may already have a Local Representative that you order from on a Regular Basis and that is absolutely fine, you can continue to order from your Representative as normal.
The only purchasing method that is affected is the Online Store side of Avon.
Shopping Through A Digital Brochure
Alongside shopping with a Local Representative, you can order through a Digital Brochure which is a virtual version of the original paper brochure that is often posted through your door each campaign.
You can access the Digital Brochure here and you can view each of the products within the brochure, just like you would with the paper brochure. When you are ready to order, write your order codes down and send them to your Representative who will place the order, and then deliver the products.
You can place your order with a Representative of your choice, however you need to ensure that your Representative is local in order to deliver your products. You can find a Local Representative above!
So, what can you do for the time being?
As the website is down and we don’t have a specified date of when the website and services will resume as normal, try to order with your Representative and Avon through another one of the ways of purchase.
